This webinar launched our new social guidance for members – Dietitians’ Guide to TikTok. This dietitian-written guidance will explain how to set up a TikTok account. It will cover why you might wish to do this, how to find your niche, and share top tips from a successful dietitian already on the platform. The guidance will also explain how to succeed on the channel, and share ideas to help you get started.
We will also hear from Kate Hilton - @dietsdebunked on TikTok – who has partnered with the BDA on this guidance. Kate is a leading UK dietitian on the platform with more than 33,000 followers, and this resource has been shaped by her own experiences. Kate will be introducing the resource and sharing her own experiences with the platform – including giving insight into how she creates a post.
Finally we will share details about the launch of the BDA’s verified TikTok channel, which will become the BDA’s primary public-facing social channel. We’ll be sharing details about the type of things we’ll be sharing on there, plus how you can get involved with the channel yourself.
